Summary

New software in the gear shift control module addressed the condition. There is no customer complaint about the gearbox. The gear lever display flashes. The following message is shown: "gearbox problem, journey can be continued with restrictions". This is a generic message in the instrument cluster that a transmission fault has occurred and Limp Home Mode might be activated if the malfunction continues.
