Summary
The red coolant light is illuminated, indicating that the coolant temperature is too high or that the coolant level is too low. The engine speed governing light is illuminated with the message ?Engine speed maximum XXXX rpm?. To prevent the engine from overheating, the engine speed is automatically limited to the displayed maximum. DTCs are stored in the ECM. Tolerances of opening spring in thermostat cause the condition.
