The dual clutch plate starting slipping and got worse. I went to 8 different places and the cheapest I could get it replaced was at Cottman Transmission for $2500.00 Everywhere I went I was told how much of a pain these are to replace and that they do not last. One place offered to replace it with an aftermarket clutch which was not a dual plate clutch. After seeing all the people complaining about them and knowing I do not drive mine outside of normal traffic or treat the car rough in any way. I seriously considered this until he said the cost was $4000. I went to Cottman and got the factory clutch replacement instead. I have since generally stopped driving this car and it largely just sits in my garage now do to all the other things wrong.
