Failed window regulator on 2008 BMW with only 55K miles is absolutely unacceptable. It could not be fixed as it had many plastic parts. Local BMW dealer wanted arm and a leg for this relatively simple repair. So, I did it myself. After the install, the window needed to be adjusted. Next time I will think twice about buying a BMW. Shame on BMW.
