Every now and then, my car's dash lights go out. Dials work, but no lights. When this happens, I have no windows, door locks, steering wheel controls, or radio controls. The interior lights have to be shut off manually when the car is cranked. It's like something in the car doesn't know it's been turned on. This will happen for about a week, then one day we'll crank it up, and everything is fine. I don't know where to start on identifying this problem
