Getting an intermittent passenger restraint system malfunction. It states the passenger airbag will be deactivated. The error is occurring when a passenger is in the passenger seat, and also now when the seat is empty. After searching this error message, this appears to be a common issue with different years and models of BMW.

My 2013 BMW 3 series seat heater burned my back. The seat heater would come on automatic while I were driving causing a burn on my back. Happen in the month of July which seat heater shouldn't be on. Information were given to local dealership and also to BMW of North America. I stated that I have pictures of my burned back. The dealership stated they found no fault in the seats. Which I know is incorrect because of my injuries. I know there's a malfunction in the seat heater or a piece of equipment fail to function normally. I paid for a diagnostic test for this problem.

Driver restraint system malfunction keeps coming on since I purchased vehicle and hendrick BMW has tried to repair my car multiple times but issue still continues after multiple parts of seat and wiring has been replaced and air bags removed and reinstalled.
