My 2006 BMW 530 XI as of this a.m. 12/20/15 a yellow indicator light came on stating turn steering wheel to start engine. How in the world am i suppose to turn my damn steering wheel if its locked!!!??? This is dangerous number one if it lockes up while i am driving. Second my car wont start due to this indicator light. Does anybody have any information as to why this may be happening or how i can get my car to start?? I followed the manual as well as the navigation screen prompts and nothing. After a fashion the battery indicator light came on!!?? What is going on?? Will my steering lock up while driving? Is it a matter of having my car re-programed? Someone please help!!
