I HAVE A FOREVER WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE (covers engine, drivetrain, etc., for the life of the vehicle).

The add coolant light came on after being parked, the vehicle info said oil level was in the middle level. I added coolant to check for leaks & safely made it to the shop. After adding coolant ,NO LEAK was found inside the drip pan or on the ground. After adding more coolant the next day, I noticed that the vehicle's info showed that the oil level had risen to almost full. Called dealership immediately and scheduled a next day appointment and reserved a loaner car ahead. I got to the BMW service center. They were extremely rude, and apparently uneducated of my appointment problems. They did NOT have me a loaner ready after driving a hour and half to get there, and confirmation email was received.

They opened the hood and looked with a flashlight, but no leak was found. I told them I didn't know what was going on with it but I was scared it was going to blow up and leave me on the side of the road. I tried to make it clear that, whatever the problem, it HAS TO BE FIXED! Engine problems are covered under that forever warranty, but was willing to pay out of pocket until I got reimbursement from BMW.

The service manager came out and said I was being unreasonable about the loaner and explanation of car issue and warranty coverage, he was lazy to call. I told him I thought the head gasket was blown, and I am trying to get it fixed while I could. He ripped the service papers out of the dash, slammed my hood, told me to leave, & that he HOPED it blew up and made me sit on the side of the road. If so, he wouldn't tow it in, I'd have to call someone else. So I drove it back home scared to death & mad as a hornet. The coolant light was still on, the temperature was rising, and the service department just kicked me out!!! I called to complain about their service manager continually insulting me & not providing me with a safe vehicle to drive, etc.

Who treats a customer like that?

He told me exactly this - "DRIVE IT TILL IT BLOWS UP!!! WE WILL NOT HELP YOU. BUT MAYBE A DEALERSHIP IN PADUCAH 4 HOURS AWAY WOULD COME GET IT AND FIX IT". I made sure that this was entered into my vehicle record.

So now I have a car with engine problems, a great warranty that covers it, but I'm too scared to drive it. It's parked until it blows up I guess. I will never own another BMW because of the service center. I just had it in the shop in March for drivetrain malfunction, rear differential bearing, and finial bushing. They swore the replaced the recalled egr cooler, but they changed the valve & line instead.

My point is I have had this car in the shop with engine coolant problems, drivetrain malfunction problems, two different times in six weeks. Still no fix on my vehicle. Nothing was filed with the warranty company & my car is broken, no clue what to do & a service manager who wished the worst on me & sent me home with a broken vehicle.
