After about 100k miles, from what I've read on the internet and my experience, these valve stem seals on these V8s go bad. It's either about $11k at the dealership to fix, or you buy a $1k tool and try and do it yourself, which I don't recommend if you don't know how to. Also all the other rubbers on the engine start to go at about 100k from my experience.
