2012 X3 F25 engine - vehicle runs out of fuel when gas gauge is between 1/2 and 3/4. further investigation shows obc test of left tank sensor with a static reading @97 ohms and 42.2 L of fuel (aka "tank = full") when in fact the left side tank is completely void of fuel. This situation is unsafe and could cause an unexpected stalled vehicle @ high speed on the highway.
