Bought a 2019 X3 in California and drove it up home. A few months later the check engine light came on intermittently. Read out the codes and found a problem with the "Active Kidney Grill." Took it to the dealer and they replaced the actuator motor free of charge. Noticed no differences in handling or performance and the car did not overheat in any way.
