Low pressure fuel sensor was said to be replace, BMW has record of this known issue. I went to get my vehicle checked out first because the water pump was bad and BMW knows this as well. Then they stated I need to change the low pressure fuel sensor for $900+ dollars. I just replaced the water pump costing $1,199 dollars, BMW is aware of these ongoing issues in these cars and are doing nothing about it!

The contact owns a 2010 BMW X6. While driving 35 mph, the engine overheating indicator illuminated and the engine stalled. The vehicle was unable to restart. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V746000 (fuel system, gasoline). Prior to having the recall performed, there were no failures. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to call a dealer. A dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 76,146. Updated 8/16/18

My BMW X6 is experiencing electrical issues. The passenger rear view mirror no longer folds in and I can't adjust it to a perfect position. Also my wiper speed will not adjust. When in reverse the camera flickers badly. Sometimes it works, other times it does not. Very inconsistent.
