Started with a hum. Brought in and nothing was found. Engine failed. Engine replaced. Hum returned. Brought in oil pump bad. Oil pump replaced, but did it cause engine damage or wear. Arm rest broke. Arm rest repaired. Hum returned again and we were told it could be the radio amplifier. Had to trade in without any compensation from the manufacturer. In this process I dealt with Buick online and by phone. No help with any compensation for our terrible car. DO NOT BUY THE ENCORE. NOTHING BUT HEADACHES.
