Both remotes failed and two dealers said they were SHOT. The LeCrosse has only one key slot and it's on the drivers door. Putting packages in the trunk requires you to put them on the ground, open the drivers door ,reach in and open the trunk, go to the back of the car pick up the packages and place them in the trunk. On rainy days we go thru the process above of opening the door, then walking my wife around the car, open the passenger door for her, then walking back to the drivers door, all this time having an umbrella dripping on both of us.

I have had conversations with two owners of 2006 LeCrosse's who have had the same experience as me with their remotes. They had their remotes replaced under warranty at no cost. The remotes on my 1997 Buick LeSabre still work with the original batteries.

Convince me that Buick doesn't know by now that they have FAULTY REMOTES on these year cars. Stop charging for replacing them...
