The contact owns a 2008 Buick Lucerne. The contact stated that while parked, the interior cabin lights became illuminated, and the vehicle failed to start. When the key was turned there was a clicking sound, but no warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that on one occasion, the electric seat independently moved forward while the driver was seated in the seat. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuse box needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.
The contact owns a 2008 Buick Lucerne. After purchasing the vehicle, the contact realized that the battery was located under the rear passenger seat. The contact stated that if a crash occurred, battery fumes and acids could be released into the passenger compartment. The dealer and manufacturer have not been notified. There had been no failure to date. The current mileage was 25.
