This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) I had a 1995 Buick Park Avenue and mine caught on fire exactly as is described in your recall new recall of Buick- however I did not see mine included in your list and I think it is important that you know this. I was on my way to a restaurant to meet with a client and was fortunately able to pull off the street into a parking lot. Another truck pulled in that had an extinguisher and he put it out before the fire department got there. It was totaled. I had a towed to an auto repair facility where it was junked for parts (I signed the title over to them). [xxx] I do not recall the date - I would have to pull the copy I made of the car title. So I am just putting a guess below so I can submit the form. I can provide a copy of the title, the auto repair company owner name and contact info and VIN if you want it...just call or email.
