Transmission failure developed on 1999 Buick Park Avenue. The transmission would shift harshly, shudder and hesitate while driving. The driver's side door lock switch was loose inside the door panel.
Vehicle was placed in the park position and it jumped out of gear, accelerating at high rate of speed, and crashing into another vehicle. Consumer has contacted the dealer.
Transmission would buck & jerk after shifting into drive from reverse. Does not happen from reverse to drive. Will be taking vehicle to dealer to check.
