The contact owns a 2004 Buick Rainier. When the brake pedal was depressed, the contact heard a clunking noise and the vehicle shook. There were no warning indicators prior to the failure. The dealer stated that the noise was normal. Repairs were made to the brake system; however, the contact could not remember what specifically was repaired. The failure mileage was 26,000 and current mileage was 34,000.
2004 Rainier experiencing intermittent popping noise. The dealer indicated that the noise was normal. The brakes made a grinding noise and the vehicle would not stop. This occurred three times. The driver heard wind noise while driving. The consumer also heard idling noises.
