The contact owns a 2005 Buick Terraza. The contact stated that after refueling to capacity, the fuel gauge erroneously provided an empty reading. The low fuel warning indicator illuminated at the same time as the fuel gauge malfunction. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who stated that the fuel lever sensor would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified.
