Car would stall once placed in gear. Started and revved fine, but would not remain running once in gear. Towed vehicle to our local dealer. Easy and cheap fix. Owned this vehicle since new and this is the first time it has left us stranded. Great vehicle!

Car starts shaking at red lights until it dies. I pulled out and it died on me. Almost hit and killed by another car. Says ac shut off because of overheat but it wasn't over heated. Really unsafe.

Car was stalling at stops. Initially it would restart. First time I took it in they could not diagnose it. Then they changed solenoid actuator. Then in December it started doing the same thing. Took it in and they said the engine was toast. New Used certified engine $7400.00.

I want to the store an hour and 30 minutes ago, came out of the store started the car. Put it in reverse and it cut off. Put the car in reverse again, the 2nd time and it cuts off. I left the hood to see what the problem was. didn't see anything, went back into the store, got something else. Started the car again for the 3rd time, put it in reverse and drove off. The car cut off, put it in drive and it hesitated. I only live a block from the store so I drove home quickly and parked the car. Put it in reverse and it cut off. Put it in reverse and pulled off quickly and parked the car.

Vehicle Intermittently shuts off while driving. When vehicle is cold or even warm. Sometimes I'll start the vehicle and put it in drive or reverse and start to take off and vehicle will shut off. Will restart vehicle and shut off again when putting it in gear and sometimes will do it a third time. Each time vehicle will start right up with no problem and usually after the third time vehicle will then operate normally with out cutting off. No check engine light has come on yet. This has been happening every other day usually in the morning or mid afternoon for the past month or so far with in the past 100 miles.

Took it to the dealer. Of course no problem found and no codes in the system. Shut off symptom happened the following morning again. It's starting to annoy me. I won't take it back to the dealer unless or until I get a check engine light. I stopped by an independent repair shop that my friend owns and same thing. He found no fault codes in system. He said it could be the MAF sensor or a faulty crank sensor but both checked out ok.

I don't want to buy another car being this one I've had since new 5 years is almost paid for but I will consider it if this concern isn't fixed.

Update from Feb 13, 2017: Checked vehicle with my scanner . pulled fault code P0010 intake side camshaft position actuator solenoid valve fault. Replaced intake side camshaft actuator solenoid. Note . there are two intake and exhaust and they both sit side by side on top of the valve cover . they both look similar but are different . Anyway replaced exhaust side camshaft actuator solenoid which averages around $40.00 to $60.00 dollars. I paid $38.00 for mine OEM . test drove and so far so good.

While sitting in a parking lot waiting to give my cousin a ride home I started the car and attempted to shift into gear and it just cut off with the light showing green on the push start button. This is the second time that this has happened and now I am getting really annoyed. I started it again and was able to drive the 7-8 blocks home.
