The consumer received recall 02V227000 for safety belt in 01/03. Since the notice was received the vehicle has been to the dealer 4 times but still hasn't obtained a remedy. Twice the dealer advised the consumer that the parts were not available and two other times the dealer indicated they were too busy. The consumer had to drive the vehicle out of town although the vehicle was not repaired.
Car was hit with speed about 45 to the right side, air bag did not deployed and the driver seatbelt broke. Stated seat belt broke and at the buckle during the crash. Will send photos to ODI. The seat belt pretensioner recall was performed on the vehicle.
