The contact stated that while driving at approximately 5 mph, the steering wheel became hard to maneuver.the contact stated that she was unable to park the vehicle and it had to be towed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that the ignition switch was defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer had not been made aware of problem. The approximate failure mileage was 82,000. The VIN was not available.
While driving and without prior warning vehicle shuts down, causing loss of all power. This problem has been noted 18 times in the last 8000 miles. Vehicle has been taken to the dealer, dealer was unable to duplicate the problem.
