This time driving home from my fathers house which is a couple miles away as I’m heading down his hill to the main road, my dashboard lights and headlights went out completely I immediately pulled over and stopped on the 2 Lane Highway. Turned off my engine and turned on my engine - headlights came on very dim. Dashboard lights never returned. I continue driving home the best I could with my dad on my cell phone laying in my passenger seat just so he could hear me talk while I was driving with dark dashboard and very damn headlights once again. I made it home, making my dad very nervous who is 87 years old and me a nervous wreck. I was stressed out having an anxiety attack because the expensive car that I bought has no headlights and now no dashboard lights. Pulled out my owners manual reading everything about the lights the light adjuster and made a call to the dealer.

I bought my Cadillac from Roe Motors in Grants Pass Oregon. He had me bring my car in and put it in the building if they went through my lights. They did get the dash lights to come back on - the headlights remain the same, dim as hell. So again not wanting to pay close to $1000 for Cadillac to change out my lights. My husband went ahead and bought the lights from the Cadillac dealer and replaced them himself. There was no change to the headlights with the new bulbs installed - still the same - very dim.

So now I’m out the price of the headlights. But I’m very glad I didn’t pay the full price to have the Cadillac dealer change them because then I would’ve been out over $1000 and not be fixed. Now where do I go, and what do I do? I still cannot drive at night with such dim headlights and I can’t drive with my bright lights on, taking a chance of being pulled over again and being given a ticket for driving with my bright lights. None of this is fair. For the price I paid for my car it makes me sick that they’re not willing to fix the problem.
