The contact owns a 1995 Cadillac Seville. The contact stated that the engine began to freeze while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they replaced the head bolts on the engine. A warning light illuminated indicating that the coolant level needed to be checked. The dealer stated that there were no recalls or warranty; therefore the contact would be responsible for paying $3500 to have the vehicle repaired. The manufacturer was not called. The failure mileage was 90,000.
The contact owns a 1995 Cadillac Seville. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact noticed flames under the hood of the vehicle. She stopped and exited the vehicle and called 911. The fire department arrived and extinguished the fire. The vehicle was destroyed and the fire department has not completed their report. There were no injuries. The failure mileage was 137,000.
Vehicle over heated, for the first time ever. Blown head gasket due to failure of the head gasket bolts. To correct, the holes need to be resleeved and a new head gasket installed.

While driving about 60 mph on the highway and without warning vehicle shut down. Vehicle was towed to the dealership, and mechanic could not duplicate the problem. The vehicle was in repair shop six times.
