The contact owns a 1995 Cadillac Seville. The contact stated that the front driver side seat belt was short and unable to be fastened. As a result, the contact had to drive the vehicle without the seatbelt fastened. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was advised that the seat belt extender would be needed however, it was discontinued. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 57,600.
