I have a 2004 Cadillac Xlr that has the exact same problem as the 2005-2009 corvettes have. The service stabilitrak message and traction control light comes on and the cars brakes light do not work when this comes on. Your case numbers for this are PE08056 and EA09-002 my car pulled to the right suddenly when this message came on. Also another related problem to this in both corvettes and Xlr's is after this happens and you turn the engine off and start the car again it gives a message to press the brake pedal because the car has push button start. The car will not start sometimes and when it does it will not come out of park without forcing the brake pedal as hard as you can. The Xlr is part corvette and was built in the corvette plant I think GM should be forced to include them in this recall. I have had other motorists flag me down about my brake lights not coming on when coming to a stop. I sure would think that for $76,000 car GM could at least make something as simple as the brake lights work.
