This Preliminary information communicates a customer may complain that when they open the liftgate it opens fully and then reverses to the closed position. The dealer technician is directed to relearn the liftgate and then go into settings and set the liftgate opening to custom. The dealer is advised that a software update will be released in the future to permanantly resolve this concern.
