- Summary
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp Flashes Due to Engine Misfire On Acceleration, DTC P0300 and/or P0303 Set Condition/Concern Some customers may comment that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp flashes when accelerating from a stop or after a steady cruise. The customer may also note that the engine speed was between 2000-4400 RPM when the light illuminated. Depending on the circumstances, some customers may state that no driveability concerns were present while others may state they had considerable driveability impacts. When checking the vehicle for DTCs, the Engine Control Module (ECM) may report DTC P0300 Engine Misfire Detected and/or P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected set in history.
