- Summary
- This Preliminary information communicates that a customer may bring a vehicle in with a complaint of the Heads Up Display (HUD) frozen or inoperative. The dealer technician may find the HUD inoperative and may find no communication with the HUD and/or DTC U1518. The technician is advised to cycle power to the HUD by removing and reinstalling the HUD power supply fuse which will restore the function of the HUD.The technician is advised that a reoccurrence is unlikely and engineering is evaluating this condition.
