2015 Chevy Colorado Z71, A/C Hose keep cracking. I bought a Extended Warranty when I got my truck, and I'm glad I did. Love the truck hate the A/C lines. The A/C Hose (part number 23354342) keeps cracking in the same area. The assembly seem to be strong enough but I've had to replace this line 3 time in the last 1 1/2 years. Next time it happens and if GM doesn't correct the problem, I'm elevating this to a legal issue. GM has not issued a recall on this and I cant believe My Colorado is the only one with this problem.
The Aluminum hose has a mass of weight hanging on it with no support. Over time and vibration the aluminum hose develops metal fatigue and cracks, causing a leak. I just had it replace for the 3rd time today (April 8 2020).
I'll post again when if happens for the 4th time.
