I purchased my truck from a Chevrolet dealership. The truck had a "not for sale" in its window. The salesman removed the sign and proceeded to demonstrate the truck to me and I purchased it. There was 28,000 miles on the speed odometer when I purchased the truck. The truck started having short periods when it would not go forward while in drive. Then it would not go forward at all. I now have 35,000 miles on my truck and have only driven it 7,000 miles since I bought it. At this point the dealer is rebuilding the transmission. I bought an extended warranty when I purchased the truck. This will cover a large portion of the cost to rebuild the transmission. The truck was only 2 years old when I purchased it in 2019 and it is now late 2022. Only 7000 miles driven in that period of time and needs a transmission.
