Ask the service man if he had heard of high pressure pump go bad before said no the tech said no. I have a Friend of mine who is master GM tech 40 plus years, own's Chevy Durmax Truck with over 200,000 miles on it with original pump, this is baby durmax engine. I have 2 large Truck's (cummins eng) with over 250,000 mi. I also have VW diesel eng.from 1981, 1984, 1986, 1998, 2015 only one vehicle needed work on the pump @ about 280,000 plus mi and that had over 820000 MILES ON IT when I sold it, as far as I know it is still going.
This probably the first and the last. I asked for all the parts back!!!!! When I went to pick up the Truck they could not find all of the Parts. said the scrap dealer took, they aloud him to come and take the part's off the tech's floor. It seems to me that is an open invitation to whatever they (tool, test equip,etc). also they replace the h2o pump and did not call and tell they were going to replace it (can't prove it was leaking) also would a copy of the GM cert's of both of the tech's that work on my Truck. tech's names are CAMERON KNIGHT, RON RIIPPI. The name of the dealer is MICHAEL HOHL MOTER COMPANY, 3700 S CARSON ST CARSON CITY NV. 89701
