I have taken this truck back 3 times. Once at 800, 2500, and now 6,000 miles. I am a die hard GM fan and currently have two other Chevrolets at my home. This is by far my worst buy ever! I will never buy another small truck from GM because the experience has been tough. At this time I have had the fluid and torque converter changed twice. The vibrating and shuttering have been fixed but the latest, new fluid has caused the truck to have a loud clanking noise when it starts every morning.

At first I was told this would now be normal, then later I was told GM was trying to find a solution. I did not buy a new truck for GM to experiment with! I really take care of my vehicles and asked the dealer the first time I had to take it back (800 miles) what it would cost to just trade it. I was told I would lose around 6,000 dollars. I was also told they had a used Toyota that had been traded in if I wanted to look at it. I let them entertain themselves and give me a trade sheet. They wanted 9,500 difference and the truck was a year older with 27,000 miles but they did remind me how tough the Toyota's were. I was not interested but quickly realized I had bought an unreliable truck that loses value fast. I was also told by a GM senior advisor if I could live with the clanking noise they could get me 500 dollars in accessories. I informed the advisor I would rather have a working transmission - those advisors are a joke.

I now have a BBB auto line COMPLAINT against GM and suggest all of you do the same. These trucks have a problem with transmissions and it will get worse with time. Metal shavings are all in our transmissions. The value of our trucks are being hurt as well as the GM name. The BBB phone number is in your manual but I will list it -- 1-800-955-5100. Get ready this is a process that takes time. Good luck to all of you and GM - YOU ALL NEED TO STEP UP AND FIX OUR TRUCKS!! Very disappointed in my Chevrolet Colorado purchase!

I hear a large lawsuit has been started involving several states. All I want is my truck to operate properly. Just so all of you know I have never had a complaint with any dealer or brand and have never written a post like this one. GOD BLESS!
