Alright, so after a particularly stressful day at work; I felt like I needed to unwind with some soothing mentholated bliss. It had been particularly busy that day, so I ended up being the last person (besides one of the managers) to finish up for the day. As luck would have it, my usually-trusty Zippo had dried out and I had no matches on my personage, so I had to resort to the next best option. Luckily, my truck happened to have a lighter in it, so right after I started her up I pushed the lighter in. And, just like that, everything electrical besides my headlights and tailights stopped working. The radio, my entire gauge cluster, interior lights, yeah pretty much everything. I had to guess how fast I was going all the way home and pray to whatever God is out there that there were no cops prowling around that night that my internal sense of speed was on-point. The next morning, I investigated the source of the problem, and as it turns out, somehow the lighter made a few fuses blow out. It was an easy fix at the end of the day, but it was the cherry on top of a bullcrap night.
