While driving my vehicle home yesterday evening my car shutdown by itself. I had to restart 3 times to make it home. This is extremelly dangerous as I was on a high rise bridge at the time. Anyone knows if there is a recall on this vehicle. Again today it shutdown and will not start again. I had to be towed to a repair shop.

2005 Chrysler 300 was parked in garage over night when we went to start vehicle it started just fine but it would not shift out of park to reverse to get out of garage. This happened on June 18 2011. Come to find out it was a spring that had broke off from a piece of plastic down in the shifter that had broke.

Without any warning the gear shift would not move out of park. I had the vehicle towed to the shop and found that I had to replaced the gear shifter component in my Chrysler 300 vehicle. I later found out that this part has been recalled on other Dodge and chrsyler vehicles, but not on mine. Now today my car is showing symptoms that the gear boc may be failing again. The key will not come out of the ignition because the gear is not go holding property in park. I am going to take the car to a Chrysler dealership and see if Chrysler will fix it. I repaired the vehicle less than 5 months ago.

Air bag light came on, brought the car to the dealer, they said it was a faulty air bag in the steering wheel. This car has never had the air bag deployed. They replaced the air bag for $690. A week or so later the light came on again, brought it back to the dealer and they said it was the airbag sensor, to the tune of $263.

Purchased a 05, 300 touring, signature series, Oct 04. Noticed after driving car home (100 miles) car pulled to the right. Car has been serviced at every required mileage limits. Car has been in shop for pulling to the right numerous times and adjustments have been made. Good year tires wore out at 23K miles. Dealer stated nothing they could do about it even though it had been documented that tires showed improper wear throughout the servicing periods. I had to purchase 4 new tires. The car still pulls to the right and have been given some story that it will prevent me from going into on coming traffic if I pass out at the wheel. Front windshield fogs up when using air conditioner, road noise is bad, power train and rear end leaks, the plastic sunvisor holders break often (replaced twice). Carpet cut too short to stay under door panels.

Day after purchase noticed load roar and steering wheel vibrating when the compressor for the air condition kicked on and off, called dealership and was told to keep driving maybe it will work itself out, maybe a kink. I am now on my fourth visit and the problem is progressing. The vehicle now stutters and almost dies each time the compressor kicks on and off. The dealership located in crystal city, mo is still figuring out how to handle the problem, which started the day after purchase.

The vehiclewas brought to freehold Chrysler for service for the engine light coming on, not shifting properly, hesitation, left and right side molding coming off, trunk latch broken and car pulling to the right. Freehold Chrysler stated they could not duplicate the problems and found no codes and the wheel alignment was done at a cost to me of $95, molding and trunk latch was replaced. We then brought the car back again for pulling to the right about 1 week later and again the told us it was fixed.the vehicle was not pulling as much but still was. About 2 weeks later the car was red lining, not shifting and stalling on her. We brought the car to eatontown Chrysler in which they found a transmission solenoid to be bad and replaced it. We then started to experience electrical problems such as rear window not working all the time and air bag light sometimes flashing on and off while driving and again hesitation when stating from stop. Also the moon roof interior shade opens to about an inch after driving to vehicle for about a week. We contacted freehold Chrysler about these problem and the previous wheel alignment and made an appointment for May 3, 2005. Now its May 8th and we have approx. 20,000 on the vehicle and we are being told the wheel alignment was completed based on a service bulletin and at no cost to us, even though we paid $95 originally, and the rest of the problems cannot be duplicated and there's nothing else they could do. I contacted the Chrysler Corp. Service center at 18009921997 and spoke to numerous people in reference to these problems and was told to take the car to another dealership and there's nothing else that they could do.

While making a left hand turn vehicle stalled. Consumer pulled over and restarted the vehicle. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. Updated 12/14/2005. The sunroof shattered when the consumer closed his door. The dealer claimed this occurred because the glass was binding in the track. The headliner was coming down in the rear..
