Takata recall. The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. While the vehicle was parked, the trunk was opened but failed to stay open. The trunk inadvertently closed, hitting the contact on the back. There were no injuries. Several weeks later the failure occurred again for a second time and struck someone on the head. There were no injuries. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. Updated 05/31/17 updated 10/12/2017
