I have a 2010 Chrysler 300. My problem is, the horn does not blow when the engine is shut off. I have called all of my friends who have a Chrysler 300, and asked them if their horn would work when the automobile is not running. Guess what??? It's a big NO! We contacted four other people, and no one's horn would work!
THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE! Let's just say I was heading down the highway and the car ran off the highway ....and I ended up in a deep gully or ravine; If the engine is shut off and will not crank due to the accident.....I would blow my horn so someone could hear me to get help. What if I am sitting at the supermarket, and the driver goes in the store and leaves the passenger in the car. A car in front of him starts backing up and they don't see me....guess what people???? The engine is off and I am rendered helpless when this could have been possibly avoided if the horn was working.
