Since I have had my 2012 Chrysler 300 (bought new), the cruise control works when it gets ready. I thought it was me, or, since it was my first ECO booster car, I thought it didn't work because of the ECO. But when I mentioned it to several Chrysler owners, they said they were having the same problem. One friend told me that when she took her new Chrysler 200 to be fixed, the service man told her that he had seen this problem numerous times.
After hearing that, I decided that I needed to take my car in for repair. When I called, the serviceman told me that it's probably not covered under my extended warranty. That infuriated me. I'm taking it in tomorrow to see if the warranty covers it. I'll be posting again after then. It appears that this is a chronic problem with Chrysler owners. We shall see.
