The car is beautiful in spite of the years and miles on it. I have kept it immaculate and spent thousands of dollars on maintenance, repairs and engine and transmission and exhaust system replacement. I was so disappointed when I began to see the warping and detaching of the door panel material. I use my car for professional and executive transportation services. I and CHRYSLER, have received wonderful compliments on the car. I have taken my car to well established and experienced upholstery shops in the Stockton area. Each one of them have told me the same thing.... A very common issue with these models of Chrysler 300s.
The only legitimate fix worth the time and money is to replace the door panels. In my case, all four of them. I went Cabral motors (in Manteca California) my Chrysler dealer. The parts desk supervisor told me the parts would about 200.00 each for the driver, rear driver side passenger, right passenger side door panel and about 700.00 for the Front Passenger Door panel. He couldn't understand why the price for the front passenger side door panel. That's parts only. and ETA would be abut 4 to 6 months. Maybe. The cost to have them installed would run from 900.00 to 1200 depending when i were to bring it in and how busy the shop(s) would be.
I know my car is out of warranty, but any consideration you might give my situation would be very much appreciated. I'm anxious to have them, no matter taken care of before the holiday season comes in. That is the busiest time of the year for me seeing with my clients.
