The gas in my car flooded through the engine and was dripping out of my exhaust. My car shutdown and had to be towed. The gas was removed from the engine and was put on the diagnostic machine. I was advised to replace my computer and 2 injectors. I had a new engine computer input and 2 of the injectors replaced (#1 and #4). I also had the coil pack replaced. Shortly afterward, my check engine light reappeared and and my transmission began to slip. I would drive and at 20 mph the car would hesitate (making a struggling noise) and would shift, I would get to 40 and it would do the same thing. I was only able to get to about 50-60 mph. I was advised to have the transmission replaced. I had a used tranny put in but the check engine light still remains. My car was again put on the diagnostic machine and now I'm being told that the computer has an issue, or it may be the coil pack or cables. This car is a pain in my a*&. I've had the computer and coil pack replaced already so how is this possible? What is the problem?
