Consumer was informed fuel was leaking from the seals for the fuel rail, the mechanic told consumer there was a recall regarding the issue, however consumer stated the recall had already been performed, the mechanic stated the original seals were still on the vehicle and had not been replaced.
Prior to recall notification (98V184) consumer stated the vehicle caught on fire, the manufacturer is not willing to assist consumer with the help of getting another vehicle, they are stating that the consumer did not notify them about the nature of the vehicle when it first occured.
