: the contact stated while at an intersection, the temperature gauge elevated to the red area, and smoke came out from under the hood. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop where it was determined the bleeder valve ab connector had melted. After this was replaced it was determined the engine needed to be replaced as a result of the failure. The manufacturer was alerted.
