While pulling into the driveway vehicle ran roughly. Engine quit working followed by the vehicle stalling. Then, vehicle failed to restart. Vehicle was towed to the dealership, who indicated that the crank sensor and a rod bearing cylinder 6 had malfunctioned, and needed to be replaced.
I own a 2000 Chrysler Concorde. Have changed oil on schedule since I purchased the car 20 months ago w/ approx. 45K miles. Have also had the complete engine flush done 3 times. Car has the 2.7 L engine. Complete failure at 79,300 miles. No help from Chrysler or local dealers.
I have several rather expensive failing items on my car including recurring issues: Had to replace the R/P steering at 65,000 miles steering rack had excessive play at the 'neutral' or straight position; the molding around all doors has pulled away from the body of the car; rear door locks need to be replaced due to electrical problem; left taillight gasket leaks has ruined interior of the car; plastic trim at the base of my windshield is flapping in the wind; replaced stabilizer bar ends; engine coolant outlet housing was replaced due to a leak from the vent fitting - and to date I have at least 3 more things we have to look at before I can sell this heep.
The vehicle stalled while driving, the consumer tried to restart the vehicle but was unable to do so. The consumer had the vehicle towed to the dealer. The mechanic informed the driver that the engine needed to be replaced due to a blown head gasket. Please provide additional information.
While driving up and down a hill at 45 mph vehicle hesitated, and engine bucked followed by the engine warning light coming on, before the vehicle stalled. Vehicle was towed to the dealership, who indicated after inspection engine blew out.

Vehicle started and made an annoying sound while driving at 55 mph, and the vehicle stopped. Vehicle was towed, and the engine was found to be defective.
While driving vehicle completely seized, and engine locked up. Plastic housing that covers the timing belt snapped, and completely shredded the housing.
The 2.7 engine failed at about 120,000 miles. The mechanic said the engine is sludged up, but I had the car routinely serviced. It is a 2000 Chrysler Concorde.

While driving consumer heard a knocking noise coming from the engine. Consumer pulled over, and had the vehicle towed. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
Vehicle stopped running, after the check engine light came on. The engine had to be replaced. The door lock was inoperative, the dealer believed it was an actuator problem.
Intermittently while driving at any speed vehicle decelerated then accelerated on its own. Tvehicle reacted as if the brakes were depressed, and then the accelerator. This problem occurred more than twenty times since may of 2004.
The consumer was at a gas station filling up the vehicle when it's engine locked up. The consumer went to start the vehicle but it only made a clicking sound. Owner had the vehicle towed.
