I have a 2004 Concorde lxi. I also have had very many troubles with my car stalling while driving at various speeds and conditions. The engine will lose power and it will take some time before it starts. It seems that this is a big problem with several models that Chrysler has produced. This problem needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

My 2004 Chrysler Concorde has engine failure. I have came across lots of people with the same problems with the 2.7 engines. I just bought the car 1 year ago and Chrysler has told me since the car is older than three years they are not liable. The dealership also has been rude to me and has lied to Chrysler customer service. I have gotten oil changes but of course I don't have receipts. I should not be responsible for this they should.

The vehicle remained off for approximately one minute and then was able to be restarted. The check engine light remains illuminated as well. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. The current mileage was 114,974 and failure mileage was 99,000.

Car will stall while driving at various speeds and lose power. Thankfully I have been able to steer off of the road each time. Each time this has happened, the dealerships have replaced the camshaft positioning sensor at a cost of $250 each. I am on the third one. They seem to last about 10 months and then are gone again.

- the contact complained about 2002 Chrysler concord. The contact made a right turn into traffic while driving 5 mph and lost power. The failure occurred with a odometer reading of 90000, the weather conditions were not a factor. The contact stated that there was no indication before the engine lost power. The contact stated that she has a 2004 Chrysler lxi which she has been having the same problems, and which the dealer purchased it backfrom her. She had the oil changed every 2000 miles and that the oil was clean. After the vehicle was towed to the repair shop stated sludge was found in the oil. *akpdated 01/22/07.

The contact stated 2004 Chrysler Concorde lxi stalled while driving at 60 mph, and the vehicle lost power and the speed went immediately to 30 mph. Then, the contact had to pull over to the side of the road and wait for the car to start again. The car started after 15 to 20 minutes. This has happened eight times. Sometimes the car has to sit up to thirty minutes before it would start. The car has been to the dealership to be checked for the stalling issue around two or three times. The dealer replaced the cam sensor. The result was the same. This time the check engine light came on. The contact took the car back to the dealer. The car is at the dealer, and they are replacing a leaky detector pump. The contact has not been in contact with Chrysler at this time. There have been several near misses. There was no indication of the problem.
