CarComplaints.com Notes: The Chrysler Crossfire has a nasty habit of having the back window fall out. While there are reports of this happening to every model year (2004-08), the 2005 has it worst. Naturally this problem tends to happen beyond the standard 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty leaving owners to pick up the tab along with the shattered pieces of glass.

I bought this crossfire srt-6 in july 2012 and dealer did not tell me it has an internittent acceleration problem, especially over 40mph. I took it to dealer and they said it was a problem of the acclerator pedal (which it was not) and said it was out of warranty repair. The car is supercharged and somtimes when you try to accelerate, it hardly moves and sounds as if the supercharger is not engaging. I believe it is something wrong with the intercooler not working properly. I am frustrated as all hell because dealer would do nothing anf nobody thinks it is not working right. This is car is NOT RUNNING PROPERLY!!!! CHrysler should recall them and fix it. Whatever it needs, a better intercooler for the supercharger, or a new supercharger, whatever it needs they should fix it. Car is a 2005 with only 43k miles.
