Vehicle had a bad oil leak, appeared to be from oil pan. Took to dealership and they found the oil leak was coming from the front engine cover. They repaired the leak at the front engine cover with new seals and gaskets and also repaired a small leak at the oil pan.
While they were making the repair on the front cover they claimed the 2 yr. old water pump was leaking, there had not been any problems with water loss. They replaced the water pump and timing belt as it had been coated with antifreeze according to dealer.
Upon driving the car home from dealer the car indicated it was low on coolant. At the first stop, the check guages light came on, and the computer indicated low oil pressure and the oil guage indicated no pressure. Upon arriving home water level was a min. level and the oil dip stick did not indicate oil, added two quarts and full oil level was attained.
Called the dealership and left voice mail, the next day they towed the car to the shop and did a cooling system pressure test. They claim the radiator hoses were leaking under the pressure test. The oil system was tested and indicated by use of a manual guage that the oil pump was supplying 10-12 psi at idle. They claimed the car was ready for pickup. Now at idle the check guages light lights, the oil pressure indicator shows no pressure and the computer display indicates low oil pressure.
