My PT Cruiser has been taken care of well. 62,000 miles and now it is overheating. Since i have started my research on what may be the problem , I have found that this overheating problem IS A LONG STANDING problem and Chrysler is not taking any responsibility for the problem. Most of the overheating has been from radiators going bad DEFECTIVE to begin with. Also Fans not working properly to keep system cool. Even after some customers had their cars fix the problem would soon return. I find this unacceptable from Chrysler Co. !! They should repair or replace the vehicles. It is rather apparent from all the complaints that Chrysler knew about this for many yrs !!!!! Why there has not been a class action lawsuit is beyond me. Hundreds and hundreds of the same problem for all yr. makes of this car
Very troubled by the lack of concern for their customers indeed. The parts are very expensive to replace and in most cases the first opinion on what to repair to stop the overheating was a wrong diagnoses causing more money repairs. What The ?????? is wrong w/Chrysler and their commitment to car buyers !!!!
