My AC stop working out of the blue, since in the previous months it's been cold I did not notice the problem till in March when it started getting hot. I went to turn on the AC and it was only blowing hot air. So during that month I couldn't go and take this car to a mechanic cause I didn't have any money with a two month old child in this hot car. The following month my child's father agreed to look at it for me and said I needed some freon so we went and got the freon and he put it in. Then the AC was fixed, so I thought. Then going on week later it was blowing hot air again. Now I'm still with no AC. Afraid I'm going to have to spend a lot of money now to get that problem fixed, that's just one of my problems. I really hate this car now.

I'm frustrated with my air conditioning not working. It started last summer and took it into a auto air conditioning mechanic. He put a new evaporator in, charged up the air conditioner, tore out the dash board to do it (never been the same since) charged me $1,000..... and it still doesn't work. Took it to another mechanic a few weeks ago. He said there was not a drop of fluid in it.... charged it up, didn't find any leaks.... and I once again have hot air blowing. This one was another $100.

The fan appears to also not blow on the driver side..... but I would be happy with just cold air!

What do I need to do without spending another fortune to get hot air?

I bought this car brand new and when I started using my ac it wouldn't blow out cold air. Got the ac charged a few times and it worked for one day and wouldn't work no more.

Update from Aug 19, 2012: The car will just shut off going down the highway or street. It has happened about 8 times. Lose all powersteering and the whole car just shuts off. Thank goodness it has never caused an accident before with my family in the car!

Update from Aug 19, 2012: Now my car when going uphill or now even randomly around 30-40 mph and i noticed when it is around 2 rpms it jerks really bad and feels like your going on speed strips and almost feels like the car is going to stale. I just spent 200 on getting a transmission flush and fuel flush and i highly doubt this is the problem. I have seen many reports of the motor mouth and torque convertor might be the problem. Is there a recall for all of these issues already???? Is it going to take a wrongful death lawsuit to make this happen?
