I've been having problems with the brakes of my 2000 sebring shortly after I purchased it from star Chrysler in glendale ca. It only had 14,800 miles on it. I'm the second owner. I can't really hit my brakes and they wear out really fast. Chrysler did nothing about this. These brakes are defective, unsafe and poorly designed. I constantly have to replace them. It's very frustrating. I have to put my car in low gear to go down hills and off ramps so the brakes don't wear out. Also, my sending unit disabled at 84,000 miles. I now have to count the gallons of gas and track the mileage so I don't run out of gas. Very dangerous. Chrysler again did nothing. This is a computer related and should not have failed at 84,000 miles. My distributor failed last week at 107,000. This should not have failed. I called Chrysler and they told me the only way they could give me assistance is if I towed it to the dealership. It was a total lie just to get me in there to spend $. they wanted $1500. Chrysler notified me the next day to tell me I wasn't getting any assistance due to being out of warranty. This cost me 2 unnecessary tows from aaa. I had to tow it again to another mechanic which used up my last tow with aaa. I had to tow it also when my gas gauge disabled. Chrysler is very unethical to it's consumers and failed miserably in the quality of their vehicles.
