Radio and outside temperature gauge panel goes out intermittently.

Everything blacks out completely.

Sometimes the door locks click on and off, like a poltergeist is in control of my electrical system.

Car drives like a dream, but I want this fixed! Its ridiculous!

I was driving in a rain storm and the indicators on the dashboard all dropped to zero (gas, temperature, speed) and various indicators went on and off. The indicators quickly returned to their appropriate position. It seemed to me that perhaps the rain was able to impact the electrical system.

My radio and cruise control stopped working. The cd and cassette player both still work; although, sometimes, I turn on the car and the message on the stereo is: no disc. So, I turn off the car and restart it and then I can listen to cds and cassettes. I replaced the fuses to no avail. When I asked my mechanic about the cost of checking the electrical system, he said it could be very expensive because there are so many places there could be problems. I learned to live without both.

Update from Jul 6, 2010: HELLO ALL<

THE SOLUTION IS HERE TO HELP US ALL......since my car is out of warranty and my radio was broke...i had nothing to lose...and decided to rip it all apart and try and find the fix....i ended up looking at the back of the radio and seeing two large connectors for the radio speakers and power....however beside them was a single wire (forget what color) not the antenna but it was a random wire seeming useless....so i unplugged it powered up the radio and it works perfect...no resetting anymore... it was free/easy took 5 mins.....on more tip is the fancy cover around the radio just pops right off i was looking for screws forever...then the radio is held in by only a few screws.....anyone can do it... email me mycomputers@hotmail.com if you need help fixing...
